Vascular Ultrasound:

Vascular Ultrasounds are done by using sound waves to produce images of the inside of vascular structures, such as the carotid arteries which supply blood flow to the brain and the arterial and venous structures of the lower extremities. With the ability to see inside the vessels we are able to detect narrowing of the arteries from plaque or stenosis, along with blood clots which can form in the venous vessels.

Our lab also has the equipment to do pulse volume readings and pressure readings of the arterial system to help determine decreased circulation to the rams and legs.

Early detection is the key to reducing severe vascular problems.

Ultrasound is an accurate and painless procedure and with exams being done and read in our facility, patients are assured of prompt results which are given by the physician who interprets them.
